Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how What Is AI ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you visit What Is AI at https://whatisai-guide.netlify.app (the "Site").
Information we collect
- Information you provide: if you use one of our forms, we receive what you submit: for the contact form, your name, email address, topic and message; for our email list, your email address and the page you signed up from; for the live class interest form, your name, email address, preferred time and any question you add.
- Automatically collected information: like most websites, our hosting provider and any analytics or advertising services may collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages visited, referring site and the date and time of your visit.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information.
Contact form submissions
Our contact form is processed and stored by our hosting provider, Netlify, Inc., which acts on our behalf. We use what you submit only to read and respond to your message and to keep a record of our correspondence; we do not add you to mailing lists or sell this information. We keep submissions only as long as reasonably needed for these purposes and then delete them. Netlify's handling of data is described in its privacy policy. The form includes an automated spam filter.
Our email list (Learn AI in 7 Days)
If you sign up with your email address, we use it to send you the Learn AI in 7 Days email course (a welcome email and one email a day for seven days) and, after that, occasional emails about new guides and our live classes. Signing up also unlocks all guides and PDFs on the device you used.
- When you sign up, your email address is sent to Netlify Forms (our hosting provider) and to MailerLite, our email service provider. MailerLite stores our subscriber list and sends the newsletter and email course on our behalf. We don't use MailerLite's tracking scripts on this Site.
- Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to remove your address at any time through our contact form.
- We do not sell or rent your email address, and we don't share it with partners or advertisers.
- We keep your address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
Live class interest form
If you use the form on our live class page, we use your name, email address, preferred time and question only to plan the class and to email you about upcoming dates and how to book. Submitting the form doesn't sign you up for anything paid and doesn't charge you. These submissions are stored by Netlify and kept only as long as needed to run the classes.
Information stored on your device
The Site uses your browser's local storage (not cookies) to remember a few choices on your device: your light or dark theme, that you've signed up and unlocked the guides, and that you've seen our partner message so we don't show it again for 30 days. This information stays in your browser and isn't sent to us. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We and our partners may use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies to operate the Site, understand how it is used, and show and measure advertising. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works.
Third-party advertising (including Google AdSense)
We may use third-party advertising companies, including Google, to serve ads when you visit the Site. These companies may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide relevant advertisements.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this Site or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this Site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices or, in the EU, www.youronlinechoices.eu.
- Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
If third-party vendors or ad networks other than Google serve ads on the Site, they may also use cookies; their use is governed by their own privacy policies.
Affiliate links and partner promotions
Some pages may contain affiliate links or show a message from a partner business. If you click one, the destination site may set its own cookies and its privacy policy applies. See our affiliate disclosure.

We may use analytics services to understand how visitors use the Site. These services may use cookies and collect information such as pages viewed and time on site.

Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK under the GDPR, or California and other U.S. states), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to certain processing of your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the "sale"/"sharing" of personal information. Where required, we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies. To make a request, use our contact form.
